Razer Adv 15 heating up

Gents, I have taken over a Razer Adv 15 from a friend that was purchase in 2020 and I have only used it a few times. However, I noticed that the laptop is hot not only when I am gaming, but to the extend that the wrist rest is warm and uncomfortable to use after 15-30mins use. This is especially so when I am charging it and using at the same time. Can you advice if any setting that i should make so that the temp will reduce? FYI, I am using a laptop fan now and its not working great also. Thanks, Kenny

    Was there any physical deformation seen on the laptop that indicates battery swelling? Playing while charging will let your laptop get power directly from your adapter, which contributes to its abnormal increase in temperature.
