I try to open (and run administrator) razer applications like the Synapse III & Cortex since those are what I downloaded. For some reason (even after updating and restarting) it does not want to open up. Why?

Are you using a personal computer and connected to a home network? Make sure that your anti-virus or firewall is not blocking any Razer-related files or apps. Also, let's try to isolate your Synapse's behavior by following the steps from this link. If that doesn't help, do send me a PM.
