Hi,

I have recently purchased the Razer Baracuda Mercury edition headphones and when I try to update the firmware I can't get past the 2nd screen.
The model is the one in the subject according to the label on the left helmet.
Do you have any idea how I could update the firmware?

Try updating Razer Synapse first, then restart your PC and reconnect the headset. If it still doesn’t work, reinstall Synapse or switch USB ports. If you’re still stuck, Razer Support will be your best bet!

I don't understand what the Synapse has to do with the headphones firmware update, in the sense that they don't connect via Synapse?

It’s just a bot troll.

I’d try it on another PC, if not - contact Razer Support directly: https://mysupport.razer.com/app/warranty-support/

Any solution about this topic?

I have the same issue with my Barracuda…. The dongle is paring with my headset, but the windows is not registering properly, only “USBAudio1.0” and therefore no Synapse, no frimware update etc.
Tried on 3 different PC, (win10 and win11 too)

It seems like everyone’s having this exact problem with Barracuda X 2022
