Razer Barracuda X (2022) - Unable to Connect to Mobile App or Update Firmware


Hi,

I’m experiencing an issue with my Razer Barracuda X (2022) headphones. While they work perfectly for audio through both the dongle and Bluetooth, I’m unable to connect them to the Razer mobile app. The app doesn’t detect the headphones at all, no matter what I try.

 

Additionally, I attempted to update the firmware, but the updater also fails to detect the device. I’ve followed the instructions provided, but nothing seems to work.

 

Any help or guidance on resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated!

Problem je u androidu 15, imam doma dva mobitela ali na mobitelu s androidom 15 nemogu ostvariti konekciju sa slusalicama dok na drugom mobitelu s androidom 14 sve radi....riješenje otvoriti app na androidu 14 a na androidu 15 upaliti bluetoth te povezati slusalice te uci u app i namjestiti zvuk

I have IOS. And that still doesn’t explain why the firm updater also fails to detect the device :(

Danas je azurirana app za android, ali još uvijek mob neće prepoznati slušalice...

Same problem. 

With phone headphones connect without problem, but with app don't working.

same problem here, any1 know how to solve it? i just got em like yesterday, BT work perf and wireless same but the mobile app doesn t work at all to find them, i m a IOS user btw

Same here! The audio app cannot connect to anything.

I've emailed asking about it and will update if I get anything but not hopeful cause this threads been open for ages now :((

My Barracuda connected when I first got it in December but won't anymore and my hammerhead wireless wont anymore either!

 

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, restarting all devices, nothings worked! Very frustrating considering how much these devices cost :((

I just bought this Razer Barracuda X from a reseller on May 7, 2025 and it just arrived at my house on May 10, 2025 in the afternoon. Everything is still sealed. When I opened it, it was still sealed. Everything is sealed. But when I tried it. At first, the sound on the dongle became muffled. Then a few hours later, it suddenly disconnected from the headset. But the light is still green and my dongle is still plugged into the PC. How do I fix it?
and. the mic its sound bad.

Try updating the headset’s firmware here. If the issue persists, please download and run through the headset pairing utility from the same link. Let me know how it went.
