Razer Barracuda X sudden beeping and interruption in connection

Been using this headset for like 12 days.... working smoothly, but a few hours ago, the headset started beeping randomly. First it was like at every 2 mins. but then after a while it beeped randomly. now some beeps were triggered when I went a bit far away from the usb dongle but most of it happened when I was sitting right in front of it. Also, there was random audio stuttering when listening to spotify or youtube. First of all my headset never beeped earlier when I went just a few steps away (the kitchen or bathroom) but it just started this evening. So this is how I tried to resolve this issue... > tried restarting the pc > removed all cables and wires nearby, and remove unnecessary usb devices > tried updating firmware, but it was up to date > tried re pairing the headset with the dongle using razor pairing tool > tried uninstalling and reinstalling the headset driver > tried inserting the dongle in another usb port

Happening to me also with my Nari Essential…..either fully charged or hard wired to my pc...would like to know if there is a remedy for this or if I have to purchase a new one...have had this one for 2 years

This happened to me today. I was right in front of my phone and i had just get the headphone fully charged. I dont know why it beeped a lot like between songs and it’s extremely annoying and irritating.

This happen to me today too. It's so annoying. Fully charged and beep all the time. Please help.

I love how no one responds from Razer. I guess the forums are only for customers to communicate.

I am having this issue with my Barracuda X. I’ve seen other threads recommending moving the wireless dongle away from your computer due to interference from wi-fi, however, I am still periodically receiving a two-tone, high-low beep. It is extremely annoying and I just want the option to disable all status beeps on my device.

Same problem here with barracuda x.

I’ve had problems with their mice, and keyboards, and now headsets. And by the looks of this their tech support has also gotten worse. Im starting to think I should transition to a different brand

Yeah that doesn’t work.

 

I just reinstalled Windows on my PC due to issues and before it was all working fine. And now got the annoying beeping. Really interferes when listening to music, videos, etc. No idea why all of a sudden it decided to want to do this mess.
