HI,

I have a barracuda x for my PS5 and i really like the head set, but every time I try to use the headset, the second i turn it on it causes huge input delays to my controllers, i’ve tried to find resolutions for this issue everywhere and i can’t find any information to see if theres anything that can be done,. I dont have this issue with my old headset dongle its just the barracudas, the location of the dongle is in the front of the system and is not tucked away its out in the open and easy to communicate, i have no trouble with my internet as well. the delays to the controllers can be up to  5 seconds of delay it makes gaming not possible with this head set, turning off the headset or unplugging the dongle makes every issue with the controllers go away.  i’m not sure what to do or if this can even be resolved? is it possible that the frequency is just gonna be an issue for the controllers?

Is the issue isolated when you use your headset on a console? PM me the serial number so I can  validate its model and check for other model-specific workarounds to help you address the problem. Thank you!

I’m also facing a similar issue. When lags occur, I have to connect my controller via usb-c cable in order to get rid of delay. It is getting really annoying when playing ranked so if you find any solution, please let me know

I just bought the Razer Barracuda X. Prior to plugging in the Barracudas, both of my controllers were working fine with the Arctis Steelseries 7. However, as soon as I began to use the Barracuda X on Call of Duty I began to suffer horrible input lag with the PS5 controllers. I know the problem is the Barracudas, since if I turn them off the input lag goes away. Please help. The lag makes COD unplayable for me. 
 

How can a gaming headset interfere so badly with standard console controllers??? 🤯🤯🤯
