Razer Basilisk V2 issues when using Razer Synapse | Razer Insider
Skip to main content
Hello, I recently came into possession of a Razer Basilisk V2 Wired mouse and decided to install Razer Synapse. I have realised, however, that the left click of the mouse is disabled on all windows other than razer software (My other Razer products are working fine) when the software is open. The only way I have found to stop this is to perform a clean installation every time I start up my computer. Is there any easier solution for this?
Hey greatNeonGreenJADE949! Thanks for posting your Razer Basilisk V2's concern here. Were you able to log in as a guest user in Razer Synapse 3.0 and check if the issue persists?
Hello, yes I have tried using Razer Synapse logged in as both a guest and as a user and it has made no difference to the issue

Thanks for letting me know. Please reset the mouse by clicking the gear icon at the top-right corner of Razer Synapse 3.0, then choose "Reset" from the side options, then select your device and see if it helps
Hello, I have found the source of the issue. It was not Razer synapse but a driver for my old mouse. Thank you for the help!

I see. Did you remove it from the device manager list? Anyhow, I'm glad that it's all working now. Feel free to send me a PM or visit our self-help options should you have other questions or concerns.
