Razer Basilisk V2 mouse button 5 issue

Hello, my razer Basilisk V2's 5th mouse button isn't registering any inputs. I remapped the key to CTRL + C when I first got the mouse and it worked fine for a while. Now it doesn't register anything. Remapping the key doesn't work, restarting my computer doesn't' work, and unplugging and plugging in the mouse doesn't work. The mouse lights don't change when I press the button (every other button causes the reaction lighting to trigger). Any help is much appreciated as I don't know how to trouble shoot a mouse, I can work on laptops (ish) and desktops but a mouse is new to me. Thank you!
