I got a Razer Basilisk X Hyperspeed like 2-3 weeks ago and it was basically fine for a week and now it’s beginning to have the most bizarre glitch ever that is causing me serious frustration.
While using the mouse (set to 2.4 mode) (if I plug in my old corsair mouse, it doesn’t happen anymore) it randomly loses focus of apps on my computer such as my taskbar, Discord and whatever game I’m playing. Like any app, even built in windows apps like the taskbar. I am unable to click back into them and they become totally unresponsive.
The only way to fix the problem is to do Ctrl + Alt + Delete then escape out of the menu which fixes it temporarily and allows you to use the taskbar but a few seconds later it just happens again. If I’m already inside the app it doesn’t do this it usually only happens if I tab out of it. The app doesn’t stop responding, it’s fine, but the mouse literally will not click on anything inside of it. Sometimes this even happens with specific buttons such as when it outright refused to click “Save” whilst I was saving an image, but Cancel worked for some reason.
I ONLY have this problem when using the Razer mouse. I uninstalled my old mouse drivers, the Razer mouse drivers are up to date, and I’m starting to consider returning the mouse if I can’t fix the problem.
