So, I bought the headset in target and I tried to connect it to my pc with a mic splitter since I did not come with one and I can hear audio but I cannot use my mic I've tried everything like watching tutorials and going to control panel sound and have found no resolve please help.

Does the mic work when connecting to a device with an audio/mic combo (3.5mm) port like the one found on a laptop or smartphone? You can try the recommendation from the following support links below:
