Hello razer users, recently i got gifted these Razer Blackshark V2 Hyperspeed fof my birthday and i am trying to connect them to my android phone, which is Samsung Galaxy A54.

The issue i have is that when i try to connect the headset to the phone, the blue light keeps flickering instead of becoming solid and still to shiw that it connected. On the bluetooth GUI thing where you connect devices it says its connected, but the headphone's blue light still flickers, basicslly signyfing that they are not connected, and then they turn off.

They were set in bluetooth mode.

Thanks to anyone that can help me out, it will mean a lot!

On my Pixel 8, they show up as Hearing Aids and I cannot get them to be normal headphones. On my older tablet (also android) they show up as expected no issues.

I have the same issue on my pixel 7

Same problem, Samsung Galaxy S23+

...on a Samsung S23+ phone, go to your phone's Settings > Sounds and vibration > Sound quality and effects, where you may find.…

I had to turn off Dolby atmos to resolve this issue

I think I’ve found a fix for this.

  1. Make sure your Android phone and headset are not connected to anything via bluetooth (including each other, and your headset is in bluetooth pairing mode.
  2. On your Android phone, go to Bluetooth settings → Connection preferences → Bluetooth → Device name
  3. Change the device name (of your phone) to something that has no spaces or special characters (only letters and numbers). Making sure it is 7 characters or less might help.
  4. Now try to pair your phone and headset together like normal. This might take a few tries - like 3-5. But eventually it should work.
  5. Your phone and headset should now be paired and work normally.

It’s not perfect, you will still get occasional random drops in connection (especially in gaps where no audio is playing), but these are quickly fixed by just tapping to reconnect. Also I think going into your bluetooth device settings (after the phone and headset are paired and are working) for your headset in your phone and changing “Audio device type” to “Headphones” might help with stability a little.

Try it and let me know if it works for anyone else.

Thanks :) this worked for me!

I removed Special characters and space from my device name, took 3 times pairing and disconnecting to get it working

Hello all,

I've been trying all day to get my Blackshark v2 hyperspeed bluetooth to work with my Galaxy s23+ and I've found a solution that solves both the connection problems and the very low volume.
This is what i’ve done :

1 - Activate Developer Options: 7 taps on Version number in About Phone.

2 - In Developer Options: Deactivate "Absolute Bluetooth Volume".

3 - To resolve connection issues: Deactivate "Bluetooth LE Audio mode" then reboot AND Set "Bluetooth AVRCP Version" to 1.3.

Hope this will help some !
Cheers.

Current android build steps to fix the issue on android devices

About Phone -> Software Information -> tap Build Number seven times -> go back to main Settings page -> Developer Options -> Bluetooth LE Audio mode -> Disable. This fixed mine immediately
