Hi, just unboxed my headset today, downloaded synapse 3, detected my headphones and all, have the mic working and the settings do apply to it but my equalizers don’t apply even if I floor all lows, mids and highs, it still sounds the same…
I tried changing the EQ with the button on the headphones, the equalizers change but the sound sounds the same always.
What gives?
Also, in a game like csgo, someone who is 2 steps away from me sounds the same as someone who is 20 steps away from me?
Seems like the Razer Synapse app or the THX spatial audio weren’t setup correctly from start. I tried this on my laptop as a first time setup and everything was fine.
Now the question is, how can I remove all razer-related stuff and make to the first time setup on my PC again?

You can perform the Razer Synapse clean reinstallation by following the steps from this link. Let me know how it went.
I just fixed it for me by enabling "Audio Improvement" setting in Windows when I go to my windows blackshark settings
@zaffi82 can u elaborate from where did u fix that

Had the same issue, the audio enhancment setting also fixed it for me, thx for sharing this!
I have same issue with windows 10 so I cant change that setting as you guys.. Any ideas how to do it in win10?
My headset was working good since day one, but after updating firmware its all wrong… I cant change EQ etc..
Same problem. Windows 10, so the Fix doesn't work. Clean reinstall did not work. I use Synapse 4. It detects charging when I plug it in, but no changes are applied. Nothing. No bass boost, no EQ or anything else.
Only thing it does is always giving me a the notification “default input device” Set blackshark v2 pro as default device. Which means that doesn't work? But I only have the Blackshark as a audio device. There is no other sound device plugged in.
Hi,
try disabling all HDMI Audio (in device manager)
AMD High Definition Audio Device
NVIDIA High Definition Audio
it helped for me.
