Recently bought the Blackshark V2 Pro wireless 2023 edition. It worked perfectly, but today when I want to use it again, my microphone does not pickup any sound. When I try to use it in Windows to test the microphone it only tells me it picked up like 5% of the voice, and all settings are maxed out and all enhancements turned off.

Discord does not pickup any sound and online microphone test tools doesn’t pickup any sounds as well…

Already installed the latest firmware from april 2024 and reinstalled Synapse. Still the same..

Did this topic help you find an answer to your question?

I think the problem is hardware, but let's take a look again. I'm glad to hear that your Synapse software is up to date and reinstalled. Could you please reset your Blackshark in the settings tab via Synapse software? Also check that there is no problem with the settings via the Windows sound control panel. If you have more questions with your Blackshark, you can contact me by clicking on my profile and clicking the "Send Massege" button.

I kinda have the same problem. Turns out, switching to bluetooth mode then back to 2.4 solves the issue for me. I mean it only does temporarily, until I use the mute switch button again. I also got into a phone call with my friend via bluetooth to the phone, and everything was working flawlessly as intended.
So my take is either the synapse software messes something up, or the discord app itself. So I would love some help as well on this topic

I think I have the same problem. I moved my pc to another room and now the mic in my rainbow six siege edition is detected but not picking up any sound. Every program detects it but no sound in the tests.

My solution for the problem was that in W11 under Privacy & Security > Microphone the option 'Let desktop apps access your microphone’ was turned off. Very strange that you can test your microphone in Windows but not use it when that option is turned off. However when I turned it on it immediatly worked in Discord

I’ve got the exact same problem, when I got the headset out of the box after installation everything worked flawlessly.

Two days later now, and no app will pick up the mic, even at full gain.

Odd thing is I can get Synapse to show the mic is being received.

Any movement on this topic?

Following up on this:

I uninstalled Synapse 4, removed all Razer drivers from my PC, multiple resets, and did a windows 11 update = Microphone still not being picked up by PC.

I went and got a new BlackShark V2 Pro (2023) headset, plugged the dongle into my PC AND IT WORKS!

I don’t know if the first headset I got was busted, or the mic is broken, but as of right now this new headset is working.

I have NOT reinstalled Synapse. I cannot shake the feeling it was causing the issue. At some point I will reinstall and do some testing, but not today.
