I have just purchased a Razer BlackShark V2 Pro Headset and the sound is working fine. The only problem comes in when I use the mic. It does not pick up sound like it was advertised and only does when the mic is very close to my mouth. This however causes a bass boosted type sound and does not sound clear at all. In addition to that the sound is very delayed and laggy where my voice cuts out at certain times. I have watched the Razer video to try and resolve my issue, but it shows no aid in helping my mic perform better. A little help with the situation would be most helpful as I do not know how to resolve this issue myself.

Did you already try to reinstall the driver of your headset or use a different USB port for further isolation? Try checking the mic setting in the Synapse 3 app as well. PM me the serial number so I can verify its model and check my resources for other workarounds to help you address the mic problem.
