Razer Blackshark V2 X Microphone not working

The microphone isn’t working but the headphones are. Both are connected and are in default but the microphone doesn’t seem to pick up anything. I have no idea if this is a problem with the headset or my pc since it doesn’t show sound unless i put it directly in at my mouth like i literally have to eat it for it to show that’s there’s noise but then it’s just muffled. Is it fixable?
