All of a sudden my BLACKWIDOW CHROMA STEALTH keyboard and MAMBA TOURNAMENT mouse not showing in synapse. My razer Kiyo camera still shows up.

Things I have tried in this order:

  1. Repair razer synapse 3
  2. Completely uninstall synapse 3, from the ‘add or remove progrmas’ windows feature and then removed per these instructions all related razer files.
  • C:\Program Files\Razer
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\Razer
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\Razer Chroma SDK                   // This file was not there
  • C:\ProgramData\Razer
    • This command can be used in place of the above to access the directory: %ProgramData%
  • C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Razer
    • This command can be used in place of the above to access the directory: %AppData%
  • C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Synapse3                                             //this file was not there
    • This command can be used in place of the above to access the directory: %AppData%
  1. Uninstalled the devices and their respective drivers
  1. Reinstalled razer synapse 3 without the razer products plugged in
  1. Pugged razer products in and SYNAPSE 3 TOLD ME WHAT DEVIE I HAD PLUGGED IN and it proceeded to run a small update for my mouse and then I plugged in the keyboard and the same small update happened.
  2. Updated windows
  3. ran the sfc /scannow command in administrator mode cmd

When it finished the small update for my razer keyboard and mouse they still did not show up in razer synapse 3. However, they were named in device manager again so I know the driver installed but synapse 3 still does not display them.

Is there anything else I can try?

If you have the Chroma Studio module(s) installed, then uninstall them. That’s they only way I could get my peripherals to be detected in Synapse 3.

I’d try doing full clean reinstall with Razer driver cleanup tool:

  1. Uninstall Synapse
  2. Download & run this tool: https://rzr.to/Tf53xj to remove any razer drivers/leftovers
  3. Then restart your PC
  4. After reboot install Synapse again (as administrator).

Also check if you have Valorant installed, because its anti cheat (Riot Vanguard) can make devices to be not available in Synapse - if you have this - uninstall.

@FiszPL

I did the steps recommended with great precision and high hopes since I had accidentally clicked the Riot Client recently, about when the keyboard and mouse stopped working I presume. Still no luck as they will not show up in Synapse 3. I did however get them to work in Synapse 2.

Are there any other methods to try or am I stuck relegated to the past?

Thank you so much for your helpful reply!
