Razer Blackwidow Chroma v2 - Button Spamming? (But different?)
First time posting, so I'm sorry if I'm missing information or asking the wrong questions.
I have a Razer Blackwidow Chroma v2, and it has worked perfectly for years. But suddenly the "m" key has started seriously malfunctioning.
There is a delay after pressing it, and then suddenly it will spam a pattern of characters:
"< > < > < >" or "M< > M< > M< >", or something similar. Sometimes I can press enter or something to stop the spamming, but sometimes it continues indefinitely and crashes whatever I was using (Microsoft word, google chrome).
I am using English and Japanese keyboards (software settings), and the product is a special model from Japan with a few bonus language-related keys, and a smaller space bar.
I've tried resetting drivers, resetting Synapse, etc., but it hasn't seem to work.
I tested it on another PC, and it did the exact same thing - so it appears to be a hardware issue?
I've looked it up and couldn't find any answers - has this kind of issue occurred before?
If it's hardware-related, is there anything else I can try?
I'm not sure if Razer does repairs, but I've had it for a few years, so it'd most likely have passed any warranty.
I'd appreciate any help or advice! Thanks.
