Please whomever from Razer’s Support Team decides to pick up this “cry for help”
Just know … I thank you in advance!
First things first
These are my products i entered before (the Razer BlackWidow V3 Quartz Edition was the last one i tried to register) and never had an issue/problem with the following RAZER PRODUCTS when going through the REGISTER PROCESS!
My Devices -
#1. Razer Wolverine Tournament Edition - Gaming Controller for Xbox One - NASA Packaging
#2. Razer Kraken - Multi-Platform Wired Gaming Headset - Black - NASA Packaging
#3. Razer Lancehead Tournament Edition Mercury Edition - Ambidextrous Gaming Mouse - FRML Packaging
Not 1 issue and the whole REGISTER PROCESS was smooth and relatively understandable/easy process as i successfully REGISTERED each one of those devices.
My Devices that DID NOT SUCCESSFULLY REGISTER -
#4. Razer BlackWidow V3 Quartz Edition - Pink - Razer Green Switch RGB Mechanical Keyboard
Troubleshooting Tips that RAZER Recommended and YES I TRIED all different “Combos” and even made some up and spend 20+ minutes going what the fudge popsicle , how did that not work , i went super sloth mode and triple damn checked each individual (letter, number) and STILL NOT REGISTERING!
Troubleshooting Overview -
1a - Made sure the I (Uppercase i) and also tried “lowercase L (example = l)” = 1(one) and the O = 0 (zero)
2a - I even check the other diagram “Graph Score Sheet” for the other possibilities of “Characters that look similar or could be easily mistaken for another character or number” and went through and of course DID NOT WORK , another dead end.
3a - HELP ME !
Now The Main Reason im taking this time out of my sunday afternoon , because i just picked up (#2, #3, and #4) ALL 3 this morning at the same time. I being super stoked and excited to get home, so i drive ultra slow. I'm talking imagine your grandma at the Daytona 500 Speedway Racetrack , she’s holding down last place , no questions asked. Now apply that to my driving home . Make it in side and chucked my old previous GAMING KEYBOARD (wont mention brand) right off my gaming desk. I get everything all setup (as in ready to plug in , not yet plugged in) I plug in the keyboard first , literally RAZER INSTALLER initiates and boom im immediately downloading 34259 RAZER APPS cause that's what you have to do apparently. I don't mind just keep in mind anyone reading this , literally when i said immediately , you plug it in , then you'll see what im talking about .
Here's what happened.
1. Installed ALL Razer Apps
2. Updated ALL Razer Apps through (Razer Installer)
3. Then Razer Synapse 3 initiates and as it loads up or window opens , i see my mouse (#3) and my keyboard (#4) displayed under “My devices” (at that point , i was more excited than my 1 year old daughter when i gave her that first bite of a popsicle, i almost lost my hand that day lol)
4. So i knew at that point seeing the RAZER SOFTWARE recognizes my #4 , their should be an issue.
5. FUN FACT - As soon as i clicked in to view the app , literally enough to see my keyboard #4 displayed , then boom RAZER SYNAPSE 4* is not staring me down waiting for an update. So i do so.
6. GO through a total of 3 RESTARTS and a crap ton of “Re-Logging In” To all the RAZER APPS that have just non stop with the “logging in setup for each individual app.
7. Now at this point i decide to REGISTER all my products and in doing so, started with the Mouse (#3) and then my Headset (#2) , just moving right along i was , then i try for the keyboard. ( Please read above dialogue for how i went about trying to register the keyboard (#4).
Can SOMEONE from Razer Support or Razer Insider please HELP me get this resolved as im a very organized person , and kinda like when everything is the same as in (If i buy multiple items same day, i should be able to register same day , all items from the same manufacture!) , but i understand “shipT happens” and hey we are only human , i completely realize and understood their could be the possibility that something would go wrong . So again . HELP ME !
Just a Fun Tip - I am currently using the BLACKWIDOW v3 (#4) right this very second and used it since i've had it plugged in, no issues anywhere else or apps seem to be doing just fine with the keyboard.
