Razer Blade 14 2023 PD Charging issue

Hi,

Just bought Razer Blade 14 2023 & 140W Apple charger.

But, Blade 14 only gets 20v 3A 60W, eventhough apple charger support 20v 5A.(I used meter to check)

Is there anyone who really nailed 90~100w pd charging? (of course less than 100w)

ps. I need 80 ~ 95w for my work, not for gaming

pps. I will try usb PD 3.0 charger , instead latest 3.1 like the apple charger I tried

ppps. I am curious if  they only accept their own charger. Has anyone got official answer that 100w is only available on their own charger?

I cant believe im typing this but my razer blade 14 2025 still have this very same issue… I dont own an apple charger but all of the other chargers I have (including pps and pd supporting portable power banks, 100w and 140w wall chargers that support pps and pd and all work on the zephyrus g14 2025) are all doing the same thing (drawing only 60w when the laptop is not under heavy load), regardless of how much battery I have left. When I put it to work (moderate to heavy load), it will draw more power, but I checked with ghelper and hwinfo and can confirm that the laptop is charging at 65w when using the OEM brick but only 34 when using pd. This is rediculous that I can find posts as early as 2021 with the same issue on the blade 15s yet 5 years later we are still struggling with the same issue… I am getting the razer gan charger from amazon and their own cable to check if that one works, and I know they have a support article that says that the thunderbolt 4 dock would charge at 100w, though I dont need a dock for this so I wouldnt be able to confirm that. 

 

This is just such a joke… I really like the build quality of this laptop but the fact that charging of all things would be a problem for a laptop…

i did send in a support ticket like many others probably had done, and provided as much info as requested, so I hope I hear back soon and get some sort of solution. This device has been performing beatifully otherwise so it would be a shame that one of the most basic things is not performing as expected.
