Razer Blade 15 (2018) Ableton Live 10 CPU Overload Issues!!!

So when I open a project up with about 8 tracks and hover over the samples my CPU spikes to 20% without even playing. Then when I play the project the CPU goes over 40% I've tried multiple things but can't seem to figure out a solution at this point. I did undervolt my laptop before to deal with thermal issues I thought maybe this was the issue so I undid everything and the problem is still there. I wanted to see if anybody else with this laptop has had this particular issue and how they fixed it. Thank you!!

Hi there! Does this issue also persist when using other programs? Can you share a screenshot of Task Manager? There are a variety of reasons that can be causing the CPU to overload so it might not be limited to the system itself.

In the task manager what I did notice was VboxHeadless was taking anywhere from 20 to 30%. I've tried to uninstall it but it won't allow me to. I did manage to stop its process and it helped a bit but I still get pretty high spikes of CPU even when its idling.
