Razer Blade 15 Advance flicker problem

For some time now I am getting thick flicker on the right side of the screen. It disappears only when I close my laptop and open it again. Please see the video here. Is this a software or hardware issue?

    It's hard to say. I've seen similar artifacts occur when there's some crazy driver issues but it's more of a one off event sort of thing. If that's happening consistently it might be hardware related such as a bad/pinched display cable, the connector for the screen unseating, or thermal issues with the VRAM. You might be able to test against that last thing depending on your model. If it's a new Razer Blade with Advanced Optimus you could just toggle between the dGPU and the iGPU to see if there's any changes. Regardless if you're still under warranty you should Contact Razer Support and get a case open for additional troubleshooting or log gathering they may help look into.
