Razer Blade 15 advanced and Lenovo docking station gen 2?

I have a dell docking station kind of working but it doesn't charge the laptop and it doesn't really recognize it as a dock and it tries to keep my screen on all the time even if I shut the lid. Pretty annoying. The only thing I can think of is that the power supply for the docking station isn't putting out what the blade is asking for.

I have a Razer Blade 15 (2018) that I've recently connected to the Lenovo Thunderbolt 3 docking station. It was ~$210 on Amazon. It will be hard (i.e., impossible) to find a docking station that can charge the RB15 since it requires 200 watts. So this docking station will get you down to 2 cables: the power adapter and the thunderbolt cable. It supports up to 3 external monitors. I had to install the TB driver and firmware; turn off the TB port security in the RB15 BIOS and recable the laptop to the docking station and (amazingly) it all worked as advertised. I've heard reports that moving/bumping the TB cable causes a resync of monitors, etc. but I have the cable out of the way and haven't had any resyncs that people talk about. The resolutions that are supported depend on the port type HDMI vs DisplayPort, but are 4K compatible. Via the docking station, I have this laptop attached to a IOGear MiniView Dual DVI KVM switch which supports my 3 computers and two ASUS HD monitors. hi, What TB driver did you install and why ? did you have lagging ? i have an unpowered usb c dock and i had lan,usb mouse, display all connected, the delay on the screen was unbearable, usb wireless mouse was slow to respond, ethernet downloads were throttled etc.....so i ended up recabling everything and not using my dock. my usb dock (https://www.amazon.sg/docking-station-delivery-corresponding-DST-C01SV/dp/B07143S293). i am considering buying what you got....but this lag really bothers me to no end.

The only lag I've noticed is at startup. It takes 5-10 seconds for my two external Asus monitors to turn on after the primary laptop monitor has started. But once the laptop is up and running, I haven't experienced the lag that you're talking about. I tend to run games at their highest resolution and don't see any difference between using the docking station and directly connecting to my peripherals. I couldn't find any specs on the Elecom docking station that you referenced. Is it Thunderbolt 3? The TB3 software package I'm running is version 17.3.74.400; the Intel driver version is 17.3.74.8.
