Hello! I switched my Nvidia driver within Ubuntu from the default to Nvidia 530 (I think). This caused the machine to shut down and it was unable to reboot. I heard fan spin and saw lights but no display. The machine is relatively new so I didn't care much about the data... I am trying to reinstall an operating system from scratch to hopefully resolve this issue but I cannot get through neither Windows's or Ubuntu's installer without the machine freezing (Ubuntu) or getting the BSOD (Windows).
What steps can I take to get this thing up and running?

This is rather tricky. If possible, you will want to install the operating system to the SSD using another machine then put it back in. If the RB15 boots up after that, you will want to update the BIOS and the firmware version of the laptop. I also recommend installing older GPU drivers for now for testing purposes.
