Have a look at the start of this thread here - I had a similar issue, and eventually used a ‘spare’ USB3 power adapter, which sort of ‘kick started’ the main charger. I would suggest opening the case and examining the battery for signs of swelling as well.
I don’t believe USB3 charging is supported :/ I think i have either a 2019 or 2018 blade, forget which….
same here. although the battery charge level seems to be reported as a random number, i have seen 4, 39, 84, all sorts of numbers. it wont charge, the charging light on the front will not illuminate and if it is disconnected from mains it shuts off immediately.
this is not drivers I have run it on ubuntu and it behaves exactly the same, swapping the battery for a replacement makes no difference either there’s an underlying hardware issue here, has to be.
were you ever able to figure your battery issue out? I’m running into this issue now. I’ve unfortunately changed the battery twice and going to test with a new AC adapter but am doubting this will solve the issue.
