On occasion there's a fan noise only when it's plugged in from the right side of the laptop. It comes and goes, sounds like when the fan is on low and it's getting hung up on something or rattling. Tried switching fan speeds in synapse already. Any other solutions? Much appreciated

Temps tend to go up when the laptop is plugged in, so fans ramping up is normal, but you mentioned something about a rattling noise. Do you mind putting up a short clip, so we can get a better understanding of how bad it is?
Here's the clip. Sorry for the delayed response. Been a little crazy. Thanks for your help!

It does sound like the fan is catching onto something from the inside. Have you tried adjusting the RPM to check if the same thing happens only on select fan speeds?
Yea I did, only happens when it's barely under load. When the fan gets going it goes away. Just really annoying when I'm doing minimal tasks (web, excel etc) and have it plugged in.
To be honest, there really isn't much that we can do from the software side of things since this is clearly a hardware issue. I can start a repair ticket if you want to go that route. Shoot me a PM with the serial number of your laptop should you want to proceed.
