Hi, recently got my Blade 15 (2080 super max-q), love the laptop, and obviously been gaming a lot. Just been running Coretemp in the background and noticing my temps maxing around 85-90 Celcius in games such as Warzone and Doom. Tried using a laptop fan thing I got on Amazon and didn't make too much of a difference. Just checking this is normal for this laptop? Thanks for any help. Edit: CPU running 85-90 and gpu running 80-85

Hi, I have the 2019 advanced blade 15 with 2070 max-q and I see similar CPU temperatures playing games like Total War Warhammer 2 and Total War Troy. It runs cooler playing older titles like Halo MCC but I would say these temps are normal for me on more modern games. I believe keeping Synapse in Balanced mode helps to limit CPU temps going above 100 Celcius and I rarely see temps over 90. I experimented playing in Gaming mode and the temperatures soared (above 100) so I keep it set to Balanced. My GPU temps seem to stay around 75-78 Celcius but it might just be the games I play are more CPU intensive. All good so far using it frequently over the last 15 months.

Hey, thanks for the response. I found synapse had my laptop in gaming mode and after turning this off I also experienced identical temps to you. Glad this is normal. Cheers for the help.
