Razer Blade 16 2023 - colors seem over saturated

Hey everyone, I have a Razer Blade 16. and I’ve noticed the colors visually look off. and it seems to be that they’re overly saturated and the contrast maybe cranked all the way too.

I know windows has the color management tool. but when I click to calibrate I get a warning about the tool only supporting a smaller color gamut than the display. I don’t want to limit what the monitor can do, I Just want to make things look less flat and overblown.

Games overall don’t look terrible, but browsing the web, icons on my desktop, and window frames just look flat and strange.

I’ve searched/googled around, the only thing I’ve found was just using that calibration wizard. I don’t know anything about color profiles but see there are other options available.

Anyone got tips or know how to adjust saturation/contrast without using the calibration wizard, which sounds like could limit this display?

Could be two different issues. Is the overall color on the display a little yellow? Some Blade 16 units I've seen have a warmer tone, which just seems like a poor factory color calibration. If colors just look saturated, it’s probably because of the 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, which causes over saturation. Not really much you can do.

I have the 4090 version (2023 model) as well.

Can't say they look warmer really just weirdly oversaturated.

Same problem here. I thought it was just me.

Just switched over from my blade 15 2080maxq.

Good thing Baldurs Gate is colorful af anyway, but other than that, it’s really bothering me, just browsing the web.

Even scrolling through things, I get these black ink blots that look like artifacting.

It cant be a coincidence, these many people are complaining about the blade 16 screens.

It’s the minLED.  Razer needs to add the option to switch to a single dimming zone.  So when you’re gaming/movies, you have multi-dimming zones - and get the goodness!  But when you switch back to work, you want the single zone dimming.

My ASUS has this… I’m thinking of returning the Razer and keeping the ASUS…  hoping Razer will announce that they are adding this feature - so I can keep the Razer.

I just bought the Razer blade mercury 16 and I have the same issue here… It is really hard to look at the screen more then 30 min, colors are off, way too sharp and contrasted… Anyone here would have a solution ? (I have already change both Nvidia and windows display settings, without success)
