Razer Blade 16 Only connects To Mobile Hotspot

I recently got my razer blade unboxed it at my house and when I tried to setup windows with my home wifi it won't work. I then was forced to use my mobile Hotspot. After the windows 11 setup I tried re installing the driver, performes network resets , etc. (All precautions on google I did it all). And it did not fix my problem of connecting to my home wifi. Other devices or laptop have no problem connecting to my Home wifi. Is there a fix? Or I have to get a wifi usb card? The mediatek 7 card inside the laptop does not perform well.

Hello F4nh4afra,

Thank you for alerting us to your concern. I understand that your new Razer Blade 16 is unable to connect to your home Wi-Fi, although other devices can. Since you’ve tried reinstalling drivers and performing network resets without success, please perform the troubleshooting steps below to isolate the problem:

  1. Check if your router's firmware is current and update it if necessary.

  2. Verify if the router is set to a specific frequency band (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz) and try switching bands to see if this helps.

  3. Restart your Razer Blade and check if the issue persists.

  4. Perform a complete computer scan, as viruses and spyware can cause internet disconnection issues.

  5. If you still cannot connect to your wireless network, reinstall your wireless adapter:

    1. Go to “Device Manager”.

    2. Expand “Network Adapters”.

    3. Right-click the wireless adapter and select "Uninstall device".

    4. Proceed with the uninstallation process.

Device Manager window highlighting the Uninstall device option under Network adapters

  6. Go to “Action” under “Device Manager”and click “Scan for hardware changes”.

Device Manager window highlighting the Scan for hardware changes option under the Action tab

Note: The Blade will detect your wireless adapter and automatically install it.

  7. Restart your Blade after the installation is finished.

  8. Try connecting to your Wi-Fi.

You can also follow the additional troubleshooting here to fix the issue. Feel free to PM me with your device's serial number if you need further assistance. All the best!
