I’m experiencing serious stability problems on my Razer Blade 16 (RZ09-0510) after updating to BIOS version 1.08 (latest BIOS update).

Since the BIOS update, the laptop has become highly unstable and I’ve been getting multiple BSOD errors, including:

  • KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
  • SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION
  • PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
  • WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR (0x124)

I also experienced:

  • PCIe Root Port / WHEA Logger warnings
  • GPU-related crashes
  • Edge/browser crashes during hardware acceleration or 4K playback
  • Random freezes and driver instability

I already tried:

  • Clean installing Windows 11
  • Updating/reinstalling Intel and NVIDIA drivers
  • Testing RAM sticks individually
  • Moving the SSD to another slot
  • Running Windows Memory Diagnostic
  • Removing Intel Graphics Software
  • Installing stable WHQL drivers only

The system became somewhat more stable after a clean install and driver cleanup, but I’m still getting occasional crashes and instability, especially under load or when hardware acceleration is enabled.

CPU temperatures are also reaching very high levels (up to 100°C), and thermal throttling is occurring.

At this point I suspect the BIOS update may have introduced power management, thermal, PCIe, or GPU switching instability.

Has anyone else experienced similar issues after this BIOS update on the Razer Blade 16 2024?

Any help from Razer Support or other users would be appreciated.
