Razer blade 17 pro 2019 , problem with power throttling

Hi guys, I'm a happy owner of the 2080q-max version razer blade, but i have 1 single problem that worried me.

I owned cooling pad and undervolt CPU by -0.140V and i have quite good temperatures, but system is throttling at any game and at any stress test , it is visible in fps games when im getting fps drops 😞 can you tell me what I can do to fix that issue?
Up 😞 any one could help me here ?
Hi there,

It’s normal on Blade laptops to have power limitation if there’s no your temperature would be much higher. In fact most of laptops manufacturers are doing this especially on thin light categories, kind answer to Intel because they increase every year more performance on same 14nm chips, in gpu department nvidia as well. This power limitation help laptops die to remain cooler. There’s also workaround if you want to remove it with some risks, but believe me you’d prefer stay on default if you prefer cooler system which may mean longer lifespan. For FPS games I think on laptop it’ll up and down if you not limiting the FPS, beside power limit the frequency would be drop if the thermal goes to some thermal limit point that may also spike down the FPS.

Hope that helps.
What temperaturs in blade 17 should i expect ? i noticed today whan play devision 2 , temps over 94degree on CPU , and im using cooling pad and undervolt cpu , is these temps to high ?

Those temps are acceptable, especially since that game is taxing for both the CPU and GPU. But by how much did you undervolt the CPU, and how did the temps look like before the undervolt?
