Razer Blade 18 – Buzzing Sound on Windows 11 Startup

Hey everyone,

I recently got a Razer Blade 18, and I’m experiencing a strange buzzing/distorted sound specifically when Windows 11 starts up and plays its boot sound. It’s quite disruptive, and I can’t figure out whether it’s a software or hardware issue.

The odd thing is that one time it booted up with clear sound, but after a few restarts, the buzzing came back.

Has anyone else experienced this?

  • Could this be a driver conflict, or is it a hardware issue (faulty speakers or motherboard)?
  • Any suggestions for additional troubleshooting?

I’ve also recorded a video of the issue, which I can share if needed. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have sound issue too, but in whole system 😪

Hi! Try reinstalling drivers, maybe this will solve the issue. I’ve tried everything on mine, but the start sound for windows is still buzzing. After this the sound is back to normal, and I don’t feel anything wrong. I’ve disable win start sound, so I won’t here it anymore...Nobody from support helped here, so can you Razer Support help me with this, at the end of the day is one of the most expensive laptop on market….
