I’ve had my 2017 Razer Blade for a year and a half now, and it hasn’t had much issues aside from the occasional heavier fan whirrling when under a game load. Yesterday however, it decided to introduce occasional screen glitches even when little to no programs are on.

Everything desaturates to sepia-pinkish colour, but vertical lines in all colors appear over the whole screen and that lasts for anytime between a blink of an eye to several seconds.



It happens over and over at random intervals, and sometimes ten minutes would pass and it would start happening again. It would happen both when charging or just on battery. I’ve turned the laptop off and left it unplugged from a power source for now. Not sure what to do next.

By the way, have you contacted our Support Team previously especially for the occasional heavy fan? Were there any software or hardware changes installed before this happened? Did you check if your laptop is updated to both Windows and Razer Synapse updates? Does the issue happen randomly or even there's no application running on the background? Does it happen on an external monitor too?
