Razer Blade Advanced 2020 with 2080 Super Error Code 43 | Razer Insider
Skip to main content
For the past few weeks I have been experiencing intermittent issues with my computer where all of the sudden my screen blacks out and flashes back to normal. Now, whenever I go to device manager my RTX 2080 Super MAX-Q graphics card displays as not working properly with the error:

Code 43: Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. I have attempted to uninstall and do a clean reinstall of the NVIDIA drivers with no success. I need help with getting this system back up and running.
Update:

I have done a fresh reinstall of windows to no avail. I still receive error code 43 on the dedicated graphics card and am unable to use it. I have made sure to update all drivers and install different versions of the Nvidia graphics drivers with no success. I am still in need of support on this issue

  • Select the Start button, then in the search box next to Start, type device manager and select Device Manager from the list of results.

  • Find the problematic device in the list.

  • Press and hold or right-click the name of the device, and select Properties. In Properties, select the Driver tab, select Roll Back Driver, then follow the steps. If the button is unavailable, that means there's no driver to roll back to.

  • Select Uninstall device and then select Uninstall.

  • At the top of the list of devices in Device Manager, press and hold or right-click the name of your PC, then select Scan for hardware changes. This reinstalls the device driver.

  • To see if this fixed the problem, press and hold or right-click the name of the device again and select Properties. On the General tab, under Device status, you should see error message fix. This device is working properly. If you don’t see this message, refer to the documentation that came with the device or contact the manufacturer.

Hey there! Thanks for initiating this thread. Did you use the Razer Blade's recovery partition when you reinstalled the operating system? Should the issue persists, please send me a PM together with your laptop's serial number. Let's continue from there.
