Razer Blade Pro 2016 bios update not working

I'm trying to update the bios shipped in my laptop to v05.01 but when I run RazerUpdater_v1.1.0.4_F1-BIOSv0501 it says the updater is only for razer blade pro and doesn't let me proceed. Why is my laptop not recognised as a blade pro model?

    There is a good chance that the SKU in the BIOS has been corrupted, which is why you are getting that error message. Do send me the serial number so I can verify the model. For now, check the main tab on the BIOS if the serial number and the SKU are intact. *Thread locked to curb the conversation to PMs.
