Razer Blade Pro 2017 Graphical Glitch

So I've been having this problem off and on for a little while now, and it's very confusing.

This is what happens to my screen, it's a Blade Pro 2017, 1080ti version with the 4k touchscreen.
It looks like it's tied to the screen's refresh, but it could be something entirely different. Restarting the computer usually fixes it, but not always.
The most confusing part is that it seems unrelated to the computer's performance. It happens in the middle of a game or when I'm just browsing the internet with no intensive programs running.
The laptop mostly rests on a cooling pad, but i didn't have one for a long time before i realized that the laptop ran way too hot.
Anybody know what this even is?
