Hi everyone I'm new here & fairly new to Razer laptops. I was given this laptop as a gift (Razer blade stealth 13 2017 Intel i8550U with Intel UHD 620 gfx card.) I know this isn't meant for gaming, but I tried and under high load the temps reach 95 C ! Without gaming it's stable at around 36 C or so. Is this normal for this laptop model? Right now I have the bottom of laptop raised up from the desk to help with airflow & temps dropped to 85 C gaming! Also all of a sudden today I noticed "99% Plugged in not charging" on battery icon. I tried the regular unplug/replug power cord and it was still the same. I searched & found that if the battery is >90% or more, the laptop does this to help with battery longevity? I did play games while it was like that & ofc it stayed at 99% so it was charging... Also Anyone know if buying a Razer Core would help with temps? What's best practice to get the most life out of the laptops battery? Leave it plugged in/use the battery occasionally or ?? Thank you all very much in advance for your help!

    It is normal for a laptop to reach those temps when under load and yes, a Razer Core would definitely help with the temps. We'll have to look into the "99% Plugged in not charging" you are getting from the battery icon. Send me a PM with the serial number of your laptop and I'd be happy to help you out.
