Razer blade won't charge.

My razer blade 15 2018 stopped charging and I took out the battery as it was swollen. Still won't charge. However I noticed this happened randomly as I was playing shadow of the tomb raider the LED indicator on the ac adapter turned off and stopped charging, I moved it to a different power outlet and it still didn't charge. I have ordered a new AC adapter hoping that is the issue. Has anyone ever heard of this happening?
