Hi,
I have a razer book 13 which was purchased by a friend via amazon. I just wanted to ask why the temperature especially when the cpu reaches 4.7GHz clock, will reach 100C during its max temp spike.
Based on the reviews from notebookcheck:

When temp reaches 78C, it will lower the power to compensate it, however, this is not the case for my unit. Even after cleaning my unit and bios update to 2.02 with the latest bios, the temp still reaches 100C.
To compensate, I used throttlestop to limit the clock speed to 4.1GHz which would get max temp at around 90C. However, just want to ask if this is normal and that the review in notebookcheck as well as any reviewers in youtube are wtong?
Best regards

Either you have faulty temp sensors, or something is wrong with the motherboard. Have you tried resetting it to factory defaults yet? I highly recommend that you do so and send me the serial number. I want to verify the variant first. That way, I can check for model-specific solutions and similar reports.
