My Razer Core v2 was repaired under warranty (new motherboard) last year. Since then, it's sat idle until this week. I've just fired it up again with a Radeon VII, connected (TB3) to my 2017 Macbook Pro 15" (MacOS and Win10/Bootcamp). But I am getting horrendous noise being injected into the whole system via the Thunderbolt cable, making it impossible for me to use any USB audio device. The problem appears to be with the Core, as running it without the Radeon VII makes no difference to the problem.
Is this an inherent problem with the Core v2 or is something awry with mine?
TIA…
