Question

Razer Core X Chroma and Bitlocker recovery key

Cerisebuzzbest374

Hey all,

I seem to have a strange situation and don’t really know how to solve it. Basically, if I boot my laptop (Dell XPS Windows 11) with the eGPU plugged in (with 2 external HDDs connected to the USB ports at the back of the Chroma) then I have to enter my Bitlocker Recovery key every single time to boot. This is a bit strange and super annoying to me. If I boot without it plugged in, then everything happens as it should and the laptop just boots.

Is there something that I need to configure somewhere to stop this from happening and me being able to start the laptop with everything plugged in ? The strange thing is that neither of the HDDs connected to the eGPU are Bitlocker encrypted. So I am kinda stuck here.

Any help would be appreciated

I have a Dell XPS 13 Plus, Razer core X, no external drives or anything.  I have the same issue with bitlocker.  To add to the fun, I’ve also had bitlocker trigger when I boot the computer without the eGpu connected.  I’ve only had it one day, but so far I’ve had to plug in the bitlocker key when I get home with my laptop and then again when I arrive at work and connect to my eGPU.  I have no solution, just adding a #metoo in hopes that a solution is provided.

Guys, I have the same exact problem. How did you solve it? Can anyone help us?

Thank you
