hi guys, do i need to have razer cortex open in my background in order to have the game booster working, or can i close it and the game booster will automatically boost my game

You can launch Razer Cortex and go to GAME BOOSTER to toggle on the Auto-Boost feature. Then, click the close button at the right top. Razer Cortex will be running in the background.

Generally, Razer Cortex will launch at the startup. If you start your PC, it will be launched automatically.

in the settings i turned off automatically launch at startup, will the boost still work?
and if i close it from running in the background will it still boost my game?
Or does razer cortex need to be running in the background to have the game boost work?

If you have turned off the auto-launch at the startup, you need to launch Razer Cortex before starting your game and make sure the Auto-Boost feature is on.

If you close it from running in the background, Razer Cortex will not boost your game even if you toggle on the Auto-Boost.

Yes, you need to allow Razer Cortex to launch in the background with Auto-Boost on.
