Hi, i am wondering what the real difference is between using windows game mode in windows 10 and razer cortex software. According to microsoft, windows game mode priortises your gaming experience by turning things off in the background and prevents windows update restart notifications. Isn't this pretty much what razer cortex does?
Also, im a bit skeptical on the speed up section of the system booster, where it says it can optimize a bunch of things. Why are these things not just the defaults of windows? I feel like there must be some sort of drawback to this.
Tl ; DR : What is the difference between Windows Game Mode and Razer Cortex, and do they conflict, should i turn one of them off?
