Razer Cynosa keys problem | Razer Insider

ok, just today my keyboard started acting weird, whenever I hit the E and 4 keys, they automatically type ER and 34 respectively. Downloaded the firmware update but I can't get past the screen of "connect your device to the pc".

I have the keyboard connected to the pc and when running the firmware update, I get a pop up asking to close Synapse in order to go on with the update, I click ok and nothing happens, tried unplugging and plugging the keyboard before and after running the update and it still won't get recognized (and it does work, I can type and still get that problem when typing). Tried both on a PC with razer apps installed, task killed any and all process with Razer on its name and it still won't run, tried on a laptop with no Razer apps installed and the situation is the same, how the hell do I get to run the firmware update to fix this problem?
Does the typing issue occur even without Synapse in the background? For now, let us try to reinstall the device drivers by performing the steps outlined below and see if that fixes the issue:

-Press Windows + S on your keyboard to open the Search bar.

-Type in “Device Manager” and hit Enter.

-Go to Keyboards

-Right-click on the Razer device in question and select Uninstall device.

-Go to Human Interface devices.

-Right-click on the Razer device in question and select Uninstall device.

-Restart your computer to completely uninstall the drivers.

The drivers will automatically reinstall after your computer restarts. Should the problem persists, PM me the serial number of your device. I can use that to check for other possible solutions.
