My mouse will sometimes double click, maybe even triple click. I cannot hold the left click sometimes because it will just stop holding the click. My item is also out of warranty, so I don’t know what the best thing to do from here.

You can replace it but it requires soldering, but still it’s fairly easy and cheap to do.
