Razer deathadder essential randomly changing sensitivity

My deathadder essential has worked fine for 4 months now, but only today, while playing competetive minecraft, it started changing DPI randomly every 2-3 seconds. It was very annoying. Does anyone have a fix for it? I searched and the only thing I found was un-innstalling synapse.
