Razer Deathadder v2 pro Dongle Issue!

I received my Razer Deathadder v2 pro today. when I plug the dungle, windows starts plug/unplug sound in loop so it does not work. It works when connected via the included USB cable.

When i use the utility to connect it says just loops in there as well between plugged in and not plugged in.

You can try to update its firmware by following the steps here or reinstall its driver. I also suggest you plug the dongle directly to the USB port of your PC’s motherboard. Otherwise, it’s a possible hardware problem. PM me the serial number so I can validate its model and check for other options. Thank  you!

i used to have the same problem, i couldnt fix it, i put my mouse in the box and after a couple months it is working perfectly (no joke), i didnt do anything, i try to fix the drivers, i clean the sensor but nothing happened, for no reason today 03/28 is working, my laptop used to connect and disconnect the mouse, i couldnt used it with the dongle, bt or wired, dont know if with the upgrade of win 10 something fix that error

Didn’t work the firmware updater doesn’t detect the dongle. I am not even sure the USB dongle is connecting to PC. I found that usb port is reporintg `Cannot enable. Maybe the USB cable is bad?`

i tried with other usb cable (razer mamba cable) and didnt work, it is a troubble with the software

I very recently just purchased a brand new pc and a razer deathadder v2 Pro. The mouse keeps disconnecting radomly during games. I’ve moved the dongle as close as I should. When I go to update the firmware, the software tells me to plug in the dongle, the dongle is plugged in. I’ve tried absolutely every USB port in the computer to no avail. I’ve deleted and redownloaded all software and drivers, still disconnects. I’m hoping i’m still good for a refund or trade in as this mouse was pricey. Too pricey to have issues like this.

Again the firmware asks me to plug in the dongle, clearly the dongle is plugged in as I am able to use the mouse to click “Cancel” on the firmware update whilst “Update” stays greyed out. Any help would be appreciated.

I can’t do anything to stop it, please do something with it

I think it’s the heating issue or with the power or something

me also, it worked perfectly, after like 2 years of attempts on fixing the issue even with the Support. And listen to the advice in the video…

And also thanks for posting the link to the video.
