Razer Deathstalker Ultimate Freezing Computer on Driver Update

Hello, I've been going through forums for the past couple hours seeing if anyone else had this issue and as far as I can tell it's unique to me. I'll start off with the background of my problem: After plugging in the Razer Deathstalker Ultimate (RDU) keyboard I was prompted by Razer Synapse 2.0 for an update. Patch Notes: "- Razer DeathStalker Ultimate Configurator Fixed: *Various bug fixes and performance improvements." The update proceeded as any other update does and it kept progressing until it hit the 55% mark and I noticed my whole computer had froze. I restarted my computer and proceeded with a second attempt at the same update to only yield the same result. After this, I uninstalled Razer Synapse, restarted my computer, then reinstalled Razer Synapse, then attempted the update again. Same result as before. I uninstalled all drivers for the RDU keyboard, restarted my computer, then tried the update again. This time it got to 60% before freezing. I tried installing the device driver update on their own without Razer Synapse and again my system froze without being able to complete the update. I noticed the programmable buttons above the touch screen on the RDU keyboard lit up white for a half second before my computer froze whenever the update was taking place. At this point I was out of ideas and started browsing to see if anyone else had this issue and couldn't find any information on it that was similar to my experience.
