Razer Firefly Hard V2 Flaking

Sorry if this has been posted before. I'm on my second order of the Firefly Hard V2 and I'm having the same problem that my first one had once I received it... Little flakes or bits of the mousepad are coming off and now some of the LED lighting is coming through the mouse pad (2 months of use). Is this a common issue or should I be looking into trying to return it? I may have already missed my window on returning with Amazon so I'm not sure if Razer would help me out on it. Any comments appreciated.
