Razer Huntsman Elite dial not working correctly

When trying to adjust the volume with the dial, the volume will go up or down randomly regardless of what direction the dial is turned. I tried changing the function of the dial to scrolling and it performed the same way - the direction of the scroll was random, stuttery instead of smooth, and independent of the direction the dial was turned. The same issues occurs when plugging the keyboard into a different machine. I saw a thread from August 2019 where several users also experienced the same issue. The thread left off with a razer person asking for serial numbers and trying to recreate the issue. Did anything ever come from that? Is this a known issue with this model of keyboard? Thank you!

    Sad that Razer has not addressed this as I am having the same issue with my keyboard. To be honest, I gave up using the scroll wheel on the keyboard. Everything else about the keyboard is awesome, but that scroll wheel is trash.
