razer huntsman v3 mini gamer mode

Im having an issue where gamer mode doesnt ever turn on no matter what i do. i have it set to always on and ive tried in game only, i saw online the hotkey should be fn f10 but when i press that nothing changes immediately the windows key still works. I also saw something about fn + u but im not sure if that is for the mini but that just locks my pc for whatever reason. I tried enabling it in synapse but nothing changes so im kind of lost cant find too many threads with this issue. does anyone know what i am doing wrong or maybe theres something im not understanding ?
